Quantum Transport Investigations on Photocurrent in 2D Materials Based Nanodevices

Inthis talk, I will introduce our developed first-principles theoreticalformalism to quantitatively predict non-equilibrium quantum transport ofphotocurrent in nanodevice, which is based on the non-equilibrium Green’sfunction (NEGF) combined with DFT. Moreover, this formalism can be used to explainthe photogalvanic effect (PGE) in the inversion symmetry broken system. Basedon this, the quantum transport properties of charge, spin, and valleyphotocurrent in various 2D materials-based nanodevices are studied anddiscussed. More importantly, we introduce a new principle to generate pure spincurrent via PGE in the system with the presence of the inversion symmetry,which is neither dependent on the photon energy and polarization/helicityangle, nor dependent on whether it is linearly, circularly, or ellipticallypolarized.


主讲人先容:

张磊教授,现为山西大学量子光学与光量子器件国家重点实验室教授,博士生导师。2012年博士毕业于香港大学物理系王健教授研究组,2013-2016年加拿大麦吉尔大学郭鸿院士研究组博士后。目前已在Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. B, JACS, Nano Lett., 2DMaterials, Nanoscale, Carbon等国际知名杂志上共发表SCI论文60余篇。2017年获得山西省“百人计划” 特聘专家称号,2018年获得“三晋英才”支撑计划青年优秀人才称号、山西省委联系服务高级专家。
